As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products achieve maximum visibility and availability in retail outlets. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with sales teams to execute merchandising strategies, maintain planogram compliance, and enhance the customer shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

The Merchandiser is responsible for optimizing on-shelf presence and ensuring that all PepsiCo products are displayed according to approved planograms across assigned outlets. This role involves executing in-store merchandising tasks, including stock rotation, product placement, and the deployment of point-of-sale (POS) materials to maximize brand visibility. Additionally, the Merchandiser will monitor competitive activities, report any deviations from agreed terms, and provide timely market insights to the pre-seller to capitalize on selling opportunities.

Specific duties include:

• Daily Route Execution: Follow the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor to visit designated outlets and execute merchandising tasks efficiently.
• Product Merchandising: Ensure all PepsiCo products, including SSFL items, are merchandised in approved access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays, adhering to planogram specifications.
• POS Material Deployment: Place promotional and point-of-sale materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays to enhance brand visibility and drive consumer engagement.
• Inventory Management: Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness and remove any sub-standard or expired products from shelves.
• Competitive Monitoring: Track and report competitive activities, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to all merchandising standards and report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlets or customers. Provide daily activity reports to your supervisor to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Sampling and Promotions: Participate in in-store sampling sessions, redemption campaigns, and promotional events as required to drive consumer trial and engagement.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a polished appearance and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in alignment with PepsiCo’s code of conduct and values.

Key Performance Measures

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the following metrics:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meet or exceed merchandising standards and planogram compliance across all assigned outlets.
• LTA Enforcement: Ensure adherence to Local Trade Agreements (LTA) and merchandising guidelines to maintain consistency and brand integrity.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow the daily journey plan with precision to maximize efficiency and coverage in assigned territories.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driver’s license to travel to assigned outlets as part of the daily route.
