Job Overview

As a Steward at Plaza Premium Group, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation within our airport lounges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will ensure that our kitchen and back-of-house areas meet stringent health and safety regulations, providing a safe and pleasant environment for our guests and colleagues. This position requires a meticulous approach, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and Kitchen Hygiene: Perform thorough dishwashing duties, ensuring all crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain immaculate conditions in kitchen areas, storage rooms, and workstations, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
• Waste Management: Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Chemical and Equipment Handling: Safely and correctly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
• Operational Support: Assist in keeping work areas organized and ready for seamless kitchen operations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia, including obtaining a valid health certificate as mandated.
• Team Collaboration: Support colleagues and supervisors by executing assigned tasks efficiently and proactively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in stewarding, kitchen cleaning, or hospitality operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Hygiene Standards: A solid understanding of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Education: A diploma or vocational certificate in Hospitality or Stewarding is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Proficiency: Basic spoken and written English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications: Valid health certificate as per Saudi regulations is required.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work shift duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Location: This role is based at an airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
