Local Content Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Local Content Manager to join our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in advancing the Saudi airports sector as part of our strategic vision. Key Responsibilities

As the Local Content Manager, you will oversee a wide range of operational and administrative duties designed to enhance local participation and maximize the economic benefits of our projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Planning and Monitoring: Develop, prepare, and monitor annual Local Content plans, ensuring alignment with approved targets and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular assessments to measure Local Content percentages using approved methodologies and frameworks.
• Supplier and Contractor Evaluation: Review and analyze supplier and contractor proposals from a Local Content perspective, preparing comprehensive evaluations to assess compliance and potential impact. Monitor the implementation of Local Content commitments by suppliers and contractors, compiling detailed compliance reports for internal and regulatory review.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analytical studies to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in Local Content performance. Manage and update Local Content databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of critical data. Prepare executive reports on Local Content KPIs for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain Local Content templates and documentation for tenders, contracts, and regulatory submissions. Verify the accuracy of Local Content data submitted by suppliers, ensuring adherence to reporting standards and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Development: Support award and evaluation committees by providing data-driven analyses and insights related to Local Content. Coordinate with regulatory authorities to fulfill reporting and disclosure obligations. Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to cultivate a robust Local Content culture among employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in Local Content management, procurement, supply chain, or a related field, with a proven track record in a corporate or government environment.
• Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in data management tools, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing Local Content in Saudi Arabia.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives that align with organizational goals. A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
