Key Responsibilities

The Specialist Physician will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients, ensuring the highest standards of medical care are maintained. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care and Diagnosis: Deliver comprehensive medical care in alignment with your granted privileges, adhering to Fakeeh Care’s established standards, policies, and protocols. Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
• Medical Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of patient care in accordance with Fakeeh Care’s documentation policies. Prepare and provide medical reports in a timely manner, ensuring they adhere to the required formats and regulatory standards.
• Patient Education and Communication: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to empower them in managing their health. Collaborate closely with attending physicians, particularly for in-patient care, to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Clinical Procedures and Interventions: Perform or assist in medical and surgical procedures within the scope of your granted privileges. Stay updated on the latest advancements in your specialty to provide cutting-edge care to patients.
• Professional Development and Training: Actively participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and educational sessions. Contribute to the mentorship and training of junior medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Policy Adherence and Continuous Improvement: Develop a thorough understanding of Fakeeh Care’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of your role. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
• Safety and Compliance: Prioritize patient and staff safety by strictly adhering to established safety protocols. Proactively address any job-related safety concerns and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and cybersecurity to protect sensitive information and organizational systems.
• Ethical and Professional Standards: Uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Complete all mandatory education and training programs in a timely manner to ensure ongoing compliance and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Hold a Saudi Specialty Certificate or an equivalent credential in health sciences from an accredited institution. This certification must be recognized and relevant to your specialty.
• Experience: Possess 0 to 3 years of post-certification experience in your field of specialty, gained in reputable hospitals or healthcare centers. This experience should demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality patient care and work effectively within a clinical team.
• Licenses and Certifications: Maintain a valid license to practice as per the regional health regulatory authority, such as the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) or the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Additionally, possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any advanced life support certifications applicable to your specialty.
• Language Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable and will enhance your ability to engage with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
• Soft Skills: Exhibit strong organizational abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure. Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, physicians, and non-medical staff with clarity and professionalism.
