Key Responsibilities

The Shop Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the store, including:

• Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of beauty advisors and support staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximize sales performance, including product recommendations, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement strategies. Monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer retention to drive profitability.
• Customer Experience Excellence: Ensure a seamless and personalized shopping experience for every customer by maintaining high standards of service, product knowledge, and store presentation. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and urgency.
• Inventory and Merchandising: Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, product rotation, and visual merchandising to maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout. Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
• Operational Compliance: Uphold Sephora’s policies, procedures, and brand standards to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage store budgets, expenses, and loss prevention measures to safeguard assets and profitability.
• Store Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track store performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Prepare regular reports for senior management to evaluate progress against goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive retail management experience, preferably in the beauty or luxury retail sector, is required.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational efficiency.
• Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
• Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in using data-driven insights to make informed business decisions and optimize store performance.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment, with the flexibility to respond to changing market trends and customer preferences.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. Additional language skills are a plus.
