Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with a wide array of responsibilities that are critical to the successful execution of our projects. Your core duties will include:

• System Design and Planning: Develop comprehensive electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage installations, in compliance with international standards and local regulations. Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP to create accurate and efficient designs.
• Project Execution and Oversight: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project scope. Monitor construction activities to verify adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Maintain comprehensive records of design changes, inspections, and testing procedures to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical installations and systems comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NEC, and other relevant standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
• Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical components and labor. Work within allocated budgets to optimize resource utilization without compromising on quality or safety.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues that may arise during construction or post-completion phases. Provide innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Certification: A valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) license or eligibility for licensure is highly desirable. Additional certifications in electrical design or project management are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting design, and control systems. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and Dialux is essential.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess technical challenges and develop effective solutions. Attention to detail is critical to ensure precision in design and implementation.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Project Management: Prior experience in managing electrical projects from conception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
