Site Engineer - Dubai

Our esteemed client in Dubai seeks an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site. This role is pivotal within a main contracting company, requiring strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments in the UAE.

• Site Execution & Supervision: Supervise daily site activities, monitor progress, coordinate manpower and resources, and ensure construction methods and sequencing are implemented correctly.
• Technical Coordination: Review technical documents, coordinate with consultants, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials, conduct inspections, and support QA/QC teams during inspections and handover stages.
• Planning & Reporting: Track daily progress, prepare site reports, assist in planning and scheduling, monitor material requirements, and report any site challenges or delays promptly.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with HSE regulations and company safety standards, coordinate with HSE teams, and enforce safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural works, and finishing works, along with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools is essential, along with strong communication, team management, and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
