Role Overview
The Industrial Nurse Specialist will serve as a vital on-site healthcare professional within the Madinah Region, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding the health and safety of employees across various industrial and corporate settings. This full-time position is designed to uphold occupational health standards, mitigate workplace hazards, and provide immediate clinical care for work-related injuries and illnesses. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including conducting health assessments, monitoring occupational risks, and coordinating medical examinations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Industrial Nurse Specialist will also lead health surveillance programs, maintain meticulous health records, and deliver targeted health education and training sessions to promote workplace wellness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Occupational Health & Safety Leadership: Conduct workplace health assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures. Monitor occupational risks and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Clinical Care & Emergency Response: Provide first-line clinical care for employees, including assessing and treating work-related injuries and illnesses. Coordinate emergency response protocols and collaborate with occupational physicians to manage complex cases.
- Health Surveillance & Medical Examinations: Organize and oversee routine medical examinations, including pre-employment screenings, periodic health assessments, and fitness-for-duty evaluations. Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Health Education & Training: Design and deliver customized health education programs focused on workplace safety, disease prevention, and emergency preparedness. Conduct training sessions for employees and management on topics such as hazard recognition, ergonomics, and mental health awareness.
- Regulatory Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health regulations, including reporting requirements for workplace incidents. Work closely with occupational physicians, safety officers, and HR teams to develop and implement health and wellness initiatives.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of health assessments, incidents, and treatment outcomes. Generate reports for management and regulatory bodies as required, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
