Role Overview

The Technical Trainer (Manufacturing & Engineering) will be responsible for delivering comprehensive learning and development programs tailored to the needs of engineering staff within dairy production, maintenance, and utility operations. The role involves designing, implementing, and assessing training programs to enhance technical competencies and ensure alignment with operational business requirements. Additionally, the position will support the achievement of corporate learning and development objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for engineering staff, focusing on dairy production maintenance and utility operations.
• Assess training needs and design curriculum to address competency gaps in alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct competency assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering departments, to ensure training programs meet operational requirements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and assessment tools, to support knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineering staff to enhance their technical proficiency and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and report on training program outcomes, including participant feedback and performance metrics, to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Communications Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of four years of relevant training experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in both oral and written English to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging training programs that drive measurable improvements in technical competencies.
• Experience in the dairy or food and beverage manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
