About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Sourcing: Identify and acquire vehicles through a diverse range of channels, including dealerships, auctions, direct sellers, referrals, and strategic partnerships, ensuring a robust and high-quality inventory.
• Negotiation & Commercial Terms: Engage in strategic negotiations to secure favorable purchase prices and commercial terms that optimize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
• Vehicle Evaluation: Assess vehicle condition, history, and market value to ensure alignment with Carly’s quality and pricing benchmarks, mitigating risks and enhancing customer trust.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze automotive market trends, pricing dynamics, and demand patterns to identify lucrative buying opportunities and inform procurement strategies.
• Inspection & Documentation: Coordinate with inspection teams to verify vehicle authenticity, condition, and compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring seamless documentation and compliance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with dealers, suppliers, and strategic partners to streamline sourcing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Performance Management: Meet and exceed procurement targets while upholding the highest standards of inventory quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Pricing, Sales, Operations, and Inspection teams to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives and market demands.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive procurement, vehicle buying, or a closely related field within the automotive industry.
• Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Saudi automotive market, including pricing trends, dealer networks, and regulatory landscapes.
• Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation abilities to secure advantageous terms and build long-term partnerships with suppliers and dealers.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong proficiency in evaluating vehicle pricing, market value, and profitability to make data-driven procurement decisions.
• Industry Familiarity: Experience with automotive marketplaces, dealer networks, and digital platforms that facilitate vehicle transactions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English to navigate diverse business environments and ensure clear, concise interactions.
