Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Design Leadership: Lead the development of comprehensive electrical designs for large-scale projects, including power distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage installations. Ensure designs adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and client specifications.
• Project Execution & Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within project timelines. Monitor construction progress to verify compliance with design intent and resolve any technical challenges that arise.
• Technical Review & Validation: Conduct thorough reviews of electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or deviations from standards. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical engineering matters, liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals, resolve disputes, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices, such as energy-efficient systems, renewable energy integration, and smart grid solutions, to enhance project outcomes and reduce environmental impact.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical designs and construction activities comply with local, regional, and international standards, including NEC, IEC, and Saudi Aramco standards. Prioritize safety protocols to mitigate hazards and ensure a secure working environment.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of design changes, construction modifications, and compliance documentation. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role within design and construction environments. Experience in the oil & gas, industrial, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit, SKM) and proficiency in power system analysis, load calculations, and short-circuit studies. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international electrical codes and standards, including NEC, IEC, and local regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is advantageous.
• Certifications: Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required. Additional certifications in project management or sustainable design are beneficial.
