Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Constructability Manager to spearhead constructability initiatives for large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role demands a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in managing complex projects from initial engineering phases through construction, commissioning, and final handover. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and a proven ability to optimize project execution while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Constructability Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive constructability strategy to enhance project efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness throughout the EPC lifecycle.
• Design Review & Optimization: Evaluate engineering designs to ensure they are practical, cost-efficient, and construction-friendly, minimizing potential risks and delays during execution.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams to align objectives and streamline project workflows.
• Project Execution Oversight: Supervise project execution from initial planning to final handover, ensuring strict compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while mitigating risks proactively.
• Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical leadership and mentorship to construction and site management teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in construction methodologies.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address constructability challenges before and during construction, implementing corrective measures to prevent disruptions and delays.
• Contract & Stakeholder Management: Oversee contract execution, negotiate terms with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all project activities adhere to international codes, client specifications, and stringent HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, assess performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to maintain alignment with project goals and deliverables.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s Degree is a preferred qualification).
• Experience: Minimum of 15–20 years of progressive experience in large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects, with a proven track record in managing projects from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in constructability reviews, project planning, construction management, and stakeholder coordination, with a focus on high-value EPC projects (USD 500 Million and above).
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strong negotiation and decision-making skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international codes, standards, and best practices in Oil & Gas construction, with a commitment to upholding HSE protocols.
• Regional Experience: Prior experience in the GCC region, particularly with Aramco or ADNOC, is highly advantageous.
