Job Overview

As we continue to expand our global footprint, Geidea is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity framework. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in safeguarding our digital infrastructure by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying risks, mitigating threats, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, thereby protecting our systems, data, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy tailored to Geidea’s evolving needs, ensuring the protection of computer systems, networks, and sensitive data.
• Security Technology Evaluation: Assess, recommend, and deploy advanced security technologies and tools to enhance our defensive capabilities against emerging threats.
• Incident Management: Lead the response to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, containment, and remediation to minimize impact and restore operations swiftly.
• Risk Management Contribution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, classify, and address IT risks, aligning with enterprise risk management objectives.
• Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of technical security projects, adhering to deadlines and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Access & Identity Management: Manage user access controls and permissions, enforcing the principle of least privilege to safeguard critical assets.
• Threat Intelligence & Research: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring current security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively fortify our defenses.
• System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain a suite of security systems, including Anti-Virus (AV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), Network Detection and Response (NDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Email Security, and more.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Provide expert assistance during internal, external, PCI, and SAMA audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in IT security roles, with a proven track record in designing and implementing security measures.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of security technologies and tools, including Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Security Incident Handling, Anti-Virus solutions, EDR, FIM, DLP, Data Classification, Email Security, NDR, TACACS, Network Access Control, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS, OCI, GCP, Azure) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
