Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Heart of House Specialist to join our esteemed team at The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the backbone of our operational excellence by supporting critical functions across multiple departments, including culinary, food and beverage, and housekeeping. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of essential tasks to ensure the seamless delivery of impeccable service to our guests. Key Responsibilities

As a Heart of House Specialist, your daily duties will include:

• Laundry and Linen Management: Prepare and maintain clean, fresh linens and uniforms to meet the luxurious standards of our guests. Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing stations, ensuring optimal performance and hygiene.
• Dishwashing and Kitchen Support: Ensure the timely and thorough cleaning of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Utilize commercial dishwashing machines and manual washing stations to meet sanitation and quality standards.
• Material Transport: Safely transport linens, dishes, and other operational supplies throughout the hotel, adhering to designated routes and schedules to support seamless service delivery.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on cleaning equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers, to ensure functionality and longevity.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards to create a secure and compliant work environment. Report any accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to management immediately.
• Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) independently. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, or moving for extended periods, as well as reaching above your head or below your knees, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive motions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational goals. Maintain professional communication with colleagues, address concerns promptly, and foster a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Adaptability: Embrace additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to contribute to the overall success of the hotel.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Education: No formal education is required; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Prior work experience in a similar role is not mandatory, as full training will be provided. A passion for cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence is essential.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
