About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare network in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract-based position, initially for six months, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of our clinic network by overseeing supply chain and inventory management. Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for a range of critical functions to support uninterrupted clinical services, including:

• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming medical and non-medical supplies while maintaining accurate records to ensure traceability and accountability.
• Stock Optimization: Monitor inventory levels, including reorder points and safety stock, to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory, thereby reducing waste and costs.
• Supply Issuance: Distribute supplies to clinical teams in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and proper documentation to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
• Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to process procurement requests, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational needs.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Oversee the correct storage, labeling, and compliance of supplies with regulatory and quality requirements to uphold patient safety and operational standards.
• Data Management and Reporting: Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to update inventory records, generate reports, and support month-end reconciliations, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Inventory Audits: Assist in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance inventory processes, documentation, and workflows to drive efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Minimum Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in hospital or clinic supply chain operations, including supply receiving, inventory control, or procurement.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas, as well as experience using ERP systems, particularly in inventory or procurement modules. Familiarity with healthcare management systems is considered advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred to facilitate communication in the local context.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
