MCC Controller - Ensuring Flight Safety and Operational Excellence

The MCC Controller is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of aircraft, ensuring flight safety, and maintaining adherence to schedules. This position serves as a critical link between maintenance departments and operational teams, minimizing aircraft delays and enhancing fleet performance.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the Aircraft Health Monitoring System (Skywise) to identify and address existing and repetitive defects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including MCC Controller, Line Planning, Line Maintenance, Contracted Maintenance Organization, AOG Desk, Material Planning, Engineering, and OEM, to plan and execute defect troubleshooting and rectification.
• Review and manage MEL/CDL/Time Limited Defects, Deferred Defects, and NEFs to maintain aircraft to agreed levels of deferred defects.
• Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on operational data, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Attend daily meetings to provide aircraft status and discuss further actions, and assist in analyzing aircraft delays and compiling delay reports.
• Identify process gaps and propose enhancements to optimize department operations.

Requirements:

• Valid license with type rating on A320/CFM56+LEAP1A.
• Minimum Level 3 Airbus A320/CFM56+LEAP 1a Training.
• Minimum of 7 years of aircraft certification experience, with at least 5 years on the A320 fleet.
• Minimum of 3 years of MCC experience.
• Extensive knowledge of A320 aircraft systems and advanced level knowledge of GACA regulations.
• Proficient in airnavx, airman, and standard MS Office suite of applications.
