Engineer - Analyzers

The primary role of the Engineer - Analyzers is to drive efficiency improvements and obsolescence mitigation through specifying and commissioning new analyzers. This is achieved by leading small capital/expense projects and providing technical support for larger projects across multiple operating units. Additionally, this position serves as a subject-matter expert, offering support to analyzer O&M teams as required.

• Key Accountabilities:
• Maintain equipment availability at the highest operating level through research and communication of new technologies and maintenance practices.
• Provide technical leadership and support to analyzer and electrical maintenance groups.
• Apply reliability tools to drive improvements, optimize costs, and enhance asset availability.
• Develop and maintain critical equipment lists and critical spares inventory recommendations.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the effectiveness of analytical techniques for detecting and diagnosing problems in analyzer equipment.
• Develop and maintain equipment history and performance data to identify and resolve issues.
• Support the life cycle effort for analyzers and participate in developing plans for major projects.
• Provide project management support for small capital and expense projects with analyzers as the primary scope.
• Execute quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Prepare technical reports and studies as directed by the manager.
• Adhere to established environmental, health, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the operational excellence process and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other relevant tasks as directed by the Lead Engineer Instrument.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is required.
