Key Responsibilities

As the IT Warehouse & Asset Logistics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of our IT hardware assets and logistics operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of critical functions, including:

• Inventory Control: Oversee the daily intake, storage, and auditing of IT hardware to maintain optimal stock levels. You will proactively monitor inventory thresholds and initiate procurement processes to prevent stockouts, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• SMAX CMDB Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for OpenText SMAX, maintaining precise and up-to-date IT asset inventories. Your role will involve meticulously mapping hardware serial numbers to their respective locations or assigned users, ensuring data integrity and traceability across the organization.
• Staging & Logistics: Collaborate closely with Field Support teams to pre-stage, package, and dispatch hardware batches to technicians stationed at various project sites. Your logistical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that equipment reaches its destination safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project timelines.
• Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end management of hardware lifecycle processes, including the secure decommissioning of outdated assets. You will oversee data sanitization protocols to protect sensitive information and coordinate sustainable disposal methods in alignment with environmental and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience and technical proficiency to the table. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), hardware warehousing, or complex technology logistics, demonstrating a proven track record in managing high-volume asset environments.
• Technology Stack: Advanced expertise in OpenText SMAX Asset Management and CMDB architectures, or equivalent platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira. Proficiency in barcode scanning workflows and asset tracking technologies is essential to ensure operational efficiency.
• Preferred Skills: Exceptional organizational capabilities, a strong background in supply chain or freight logistics, and a deep understanding of hardware lifecycle depreciation to optimize asset utilization and minimize costs.
