Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Faculty Member specializing in Information Technology to join our esteemed academic institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education, fostering student development, and upholding academic excellence. Key Responsibilities

The Faculty Member will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Curriculum Delivery and Instruction: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the curriculum, utilizing innovative and engaging pedagogical approaches to enhance student comprehension and retention.
• Academic Mentorship and Support: Provide personalized guidance to students through mentorship in assignments, projects, and overall academic progress, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design, administer, and evaluate assessments, quizzes, and examination papers, ensuring fairness, academic rigor, and adherence to institutional standards. Deliver timely and constructive feedback to facilitate student improvement.
• Administrative and Compliance Duties: Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic data within the Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) in accordance with stipulated timelines. Uphold academic integrity by conducting examination invigilation and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and quality standards.
• Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance: Actively participate in the enhancement and development of course content, ensuring its relevance to industry demands and alignment with academic regulations. Contribute to curriculum moderation and quality assurance initiatives to maintain high educational standards.
• Institutional Engagement and Professional Growth: Attend departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and professional training sessions to stay abreast of emerging trends in education and technology. Engage in admissions processes, orientations, workshops, seminars, and other academic or promotional activities as assigned.
• Collaborative Initiatives: Participate in on-campus events, institutional initiatives, and administrative duties as required, demonstrating a proactive approach to contributing to the broader academic community.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A PhD in Information Technology or a closely related field is required.
• Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level, with a demonstrated ability to engage students and deliver complex technical concepts effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of educational technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS), is highly preferred. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools relevant to Information Technology is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, enabling the ability to convey technical information clearly and foster a collaborative learning environment.
