This is a remote, freelance opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing AI-driven language models through precise transcription and annotation services. Key Responsibilities

As an Arabic Transcription & Annotation Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Transcription: Accurately transcribe audio recordings from scratch, ensuring adherence to linguistic accuracy and project-specific guidelines.
• Review & Correction: Evaluate and refine machine-generated transcripts to meet stringent quality standards, correcting errors in grammar, syntax, and context.
• Audio Segmentation & Speaker Identification: Segment audio files and accurately identify speakers, ensuring clarity and precision in dialogue representation.
• Annotation & Labeling: Add timestamps, label pauses, fillers, overlapping speech, background noise, and other audio events to provide comprehensive and structured data for AI training.
• Quality Assurance: Follow detailed project guidelines meticulously and consistently meet or exceed quality targets to ensure the reliability of annotated data.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency (C1–C2) in Arabic, with a deep understanding of contemporary spoken language, including regional varieties and colloquial expressions. Strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation is essential.
• English Proficiency: Good working proficiency in English to effectively understand project guidelines, training materials, and written feedback.
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in transcription, subtitling, speech annotation, linguistic data annotation, or similar language-related roles is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to apply detailed guidelines consistently and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Technical Requirements: Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and quality headphones to ensure seamless project execution.

Project Details

Availability: Minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying workloads based on project demands.

Project Duration: Long-term engagement with potential for ongoing collaboration, depending on project scope and performance.

Compensation: Competitive pay at a rate of $20 per hour, reflecting the value of your expertise and contributions.
