Teradata Developer & Data Lakehouse Application Support Engineer

Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, as a Teradata Developer & Data Lakehouse Application Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for both development and L1/L2 support of data pipelines, applications, and analytical workloads within the Teradata Data Lakehouse ecosystem.

Your primary focus will be to build optimized Teradata solutions, ensuring production stability, performance, and reliable data delivery for BI, analytics, and ClearScape use cases. You will work with a diverse team of experts, leveraging your skills in Teradata SQL, performance tuning, and data integration workflows to drive success.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize Teradata SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data pipelines.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows across raw, curated, and semantic layers.
• Perform SQL tuning, workload optimization, and performance improvements.
• Support data integration across Teradata Vantage, external systems, and analytics platforms.
• Monitor pipelines, ETL jobs, and workloads using Teradata Viewpoint.
• Act as the first point of contact for production incidents and failures.
• Support data movement and connectivity using Data Mover and QueryGrid.
• Ensure business continuity and data protection using BCM and DSU.
• Support ClearScape Analytics workloads and ensure data governance compliance.
• Participate in release and change management processes.

Required Skills & Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Teradata development and production support, strong expertise in Teradata SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, and the ability to work in 24/7 support environments.
