Infectious Diseases Consultant

The successful candidate will serve as an Infectious Diseases Consultant, responsible for providing expert clinical care and guidance to patients with infectious diseases. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced physician with a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.

• Performs clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments, including clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional aspects, and documents findings in patient medical records.
• Develops and implements patient care plans using an evidence-based approach and following established standards of care.
• Acts as the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under their name, developing discharge plans and ensuring timely implementation of care plans.
• Responds to medical consultations promptly and documents medical interventions in a timely manner, adhering strictly to Fakeeh care standards for documentation.
• Attends to Fakeeh Health Care facility duties, responds to calls, and contributes to departmental and general staff meetings.
• Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Requirements:

• Clear communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and non-medical staff.
• Proficient Microsoft computer skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in high-stress situations.
• Completion of experience requirements as per the regional health regulatory authority.
• Board / Fellowship certification.
• Valid license for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority, including BLS and advanced license if applicable.
