Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

• Credit Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce credit policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks while optimizing revenue collection. Ensure alignment with Marriott International’s global standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Risk Assessment & Approval: Evaluate credit applications, conduct thorough financial analyses, and make informed decisions on credit limits and terms. Monitor existing accounts to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to address them.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their financial concerns and negotiating mutually beneficial credit terms. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support business growth while safeguarding the company’s interests.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate and timely credit reports, including aging analyses, delinquency reports, and cash flow forecasts. Ensure compliance with internal audits, external regulations, and Marriott International’s financial policies.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of credit professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Provide training and support to enhance team performance and align with organizational goals.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of credit strategies that support the company’s long-term financial objectives. Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry benchmarks to inform decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in credit management, financial analysis, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel). Experience with credit management tools and data analytics is a plus.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret financial data, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international financial regulations, including Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) guidelines and IFRS standards.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating teams and driving performance. Strong negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
