Key Responsibilities

As an Interior Designer at Sealy Mattress Middle East, you will be responsible for a wide range of design-related tasks, including:

• Concept Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop interior design schemes that reflect Sealy’s brand identity while meeting client and business objectives.
• Space Planning & Layout Design: Create efficient and aesthetically pleasing layouts for retail showrooms, corporate offices, and customer experience centers, ensuring optimal use of space and adherence to accessibility standards.
• Material & Finishes Selection: Curate high-quality materials, finishes, fabrics, and furnishings that align with Sealy’s premium positioning, balancing durability, comfort, and visual appeal.
• 3D Visualization & Rendering: Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max) to produce detailed 3D models, renderings, and walkthroughs that bring design concepts to life for stakeholders and clients.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of design projects, from initial concept to final installation, while adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Brand Alignment & Consistency: Ensure all design elements—from color palettes and lighting to furniture and decor—maintain a cohesive and recognizable brand identity across all Sealy locations.
• Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative solutions to enhance energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and create healthier indoor environments.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Present design proposals to clients and leadership, incorporating feedback and refining concepts to achieve the desired outcome.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized certification (e.g., LEED, CIDQ) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or retail projects. Experience in the furniture or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering tools.
• Creativity & Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics, color theory, spatial relationships, and material textures, combined with a meticulous approach to execution.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas clearly to diverse audiences, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to local design preferences and cultural nuances in the Middle East, ensuring designs resonate with the target audience while maintaining global standards.
