Interim IT Project Manager - East London

A Local Authority in East London seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of key Technology Roadmap projects, focusing on Modern Workplace technologies including Microsoft 365, Identity, Endpoint Management, and SharePoint Online.

• Manage project delivery from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide governance reporting to senior boards and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organisational governance, architecture standards, and M365 best practices.
• Support user adoption, change management, and transition into service.
• Manage escalations and provide recommendations to resolve complex delivery issues.

Requirements:

• Proven IT Project Management experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
• Experience with M365, SharePoint Online, Identity, and Endpoint technologies.
• Excellent communication, planning, and risk management skills.
• Local Government or Public Sector experience is desirable.

This is a contract/interim position with a daily rate of £500 (Umbrella).
