Key Responsibilities

• Network Management & Monitoring: Proactively monitor network performance, availability, and security using advanced tools and systems. Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal network functionality.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patches on network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Ensure all components are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
• Security Implementation: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and enforce network security policies, access controls, and encryption protocols. Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents to safeguard sensitive data.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems, latency, and configuration errors. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to end-users and IT teams as needed.
• Capacity Planning & Optimization: Analyze network usage trends and forecast future capacity requirements. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate network-related projects, procurements, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with hands-on expertise in managing enterprise-level networks.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and technologies (LAN, WAN, VLAN, MPLS, etc.).
• Familiarity with network security frameworks, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
