Key Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Administrator at TAWANTECH, your core responsibilities will include:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain enterprise-level servers, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of all server environments.
• Network Infrastructure: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Cloud Services: Administer and optimize cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate on-premises systems to the cloud and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Storage and Backup Solutions: Implement and manage data storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and backup systems. Develop and enforce data retention policies to safeguard critical business information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including access controls, patch management, and vulnerability assessments. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or local data protection laws.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of system failures or cyber incidents. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• User Support and Collaboration: Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate performance reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with server administration, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks is essential.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Adaptability: A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
