Key Responsibilities

• Product Inspection: Perform meticulous inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with company and industry standards. Prepare detailed reports for management and quality assurance teams to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Process Monitoring: Collaborate with production teams to monitor manufacturing processes, identify potential quality issues, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to local, regional, and international quality and safety regulations, including ISO, HACCP, and other relevant standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality discrepancies, non-conformances, or customer complaints to determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
• Training and Development: Assist in training production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices to foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to quality excellence. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A diploma or degree in quality assurance, engineering, food science, or a related field. Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma) is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with quality inspection equipment, measurement tools, and software systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software is required.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in production processes.
