Key Responsibilities

As an Advanced Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of complex engineering projects across various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and industrial automation. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and senior management to align project objectives with business goals.
• Technical Expertise: Apply advanced engineering principles to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Utilize your expertise in areas such as process engineering, systems integration, or automation to drive project success.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity. Conduct thorough feasibility studies and impact assessments to inform decision-making.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to local and international regulations, industry standards, and Honeywell’s internal policies. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. Present technical reports, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and technological advancements. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) from a recognized university. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project engineering, with a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial projects. Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or automation sectors is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SAP, or similar), project management methodologies, and industry-specific regulations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements. Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Engineering Manager (CEM), or Certified Automation Professional (CAP) are advantageous.
