QA/QC Engineer

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality assurance plans to guarantee that all projects and products meet or exceed industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Quality Control: Execute rigorous quality control measures at every stage of the project lifecycle, from procurement and materials testing to construction and final delivery. Utilize advanced testing methodologies and tools to validate compliance with project blueprints, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all quality-related activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports for management, clients, and regulatory bodies to demonstrate adherence to quality standards and highlight any deviations that require attention.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and elevate overall quality. Stay abreast of emerging industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative approaches to quality management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international regulations, codes, and standards governing construction, manufacturing, and trading activities. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to interpret and apply relevant guidelines effectively.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate seamless communication and alignment on quality expectations. Address any quality-related concerns promptly and proactively to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to junior staff and contractors on quality standards, safety protocols, and best practices. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning within the organization to uphold the highest standards of quality across all operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or ASQ are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance and control, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or trading sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, testing methodologies, and industry-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in using quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and project management platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive quality improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering results.
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
