Key Responsibilities

The QSHE Coordinator (Sales) will be responsible for a wide range of duties to uphold and enhance Almarai’s commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability. The primary responsibilities include:

• QSHE Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to local and international QSHE regulations, standards, and company policies across all sales activities and processes.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales operations and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams to foster a culture of safety and compliance. Ensure all employees are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining QSHE standards.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances. Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date QSHE documentation, including policies, procedures, training records, and audit findings. Ensure all records are readily accessible and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Internal Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and participate in internal QSHE audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and operational teams to integrate QSHE best practices into daily activities. Serve as a liaison between Almarai and external regulatory bodies to ensure seamless compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing QSHE performance data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in QSHE coordination, preferably within the food and beverage industry or a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• In-depth knowledge of QSHE regulations, standards, and best practices, with a strong understanding of ISO frameworks and local labor laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using QSHE management software and tools to track performance, generate reports, and manage documentation.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to prioritize safety and compliance.
