Position Overview

Greenland Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to support critical projects within the Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of defense-related components through rigorous inspection methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing precise testing procedures, evaluating results, and maintaining compliance with stringent regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

The NDT Inspector will perform a wide range of duties to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. These responsibilities include:

  • Testing Execution: Configure, calibrate, and operate advanced NDT equipment to conduct comprehensive inspections. Proficiency in multiple testing methods is essential, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
  • Defect Evaluation: Analyze test results with precision, interpret blueprints, and assess findings to determine the structural integrity of parts, welds, or assemblies. The ability to identify defects and recommend corrective actions is critical to maintaining operational safety and reliability.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all inspection activities strictly adhere to local safety protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and government regulations. This includes maintaining a safe working environment and upholding the highest ethical standards in all operations.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate reports of all testing procedures, processes, and outcomes. These reports will be utilized by engineers and clients to make informed decisions regarding structural integrity and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, welders, and project managers to provide real-time updates on inspection progress. Effective communication is essential for resolving structural issues promptly and ensuring seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proven expertise in inspection techniques, workshop operations, quality inspection, and safety protocols. Familiarity with automobile and motor workshop environments is advantageous.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in NDT inspection, preferably within overseas companies, corporate groups, or automotive sectors. Prior involvement in defense or high-stakes industrial projects is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits
