Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance & Accounting team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial efficiency across the organization. Your expertise in financial management, reporting, and strategic decision-making will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, financial planning, and internal controls, with a deep understanding of Saudi regulatory frameworks and international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Controller will be tasked with the following core responsibilities:

• Financial Operations Oversight: Manage daily accounting and financial operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established policies and regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Saudi regulations, providing clear insights to senior leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to IFRS, Saudi Commercial Law, Zakat and Tax regulations, and company financial policies to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives and operational needs.
• Cash Flow & Performance Monitoring: Track cash flow, financial performance, and operational expenditures to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and maintaining transparent communication with auditors.
• Tax & Regulatory Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax filings and regulatory reports in compliance with local and international standards.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support executive decision-making and drive business growth.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
• Executive Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives, ensuring sustainable profitability and long-term success.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA, SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in financial management.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, along with hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools to analyze complex data and generate strategic insights.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi regulatory frameworks, including Zakat and Tax regulations, and experience in ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Nationality: Saudi nationality is required.
