Key Responsibilities

In this highly impactful role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of clinical and educational initiatives that span the entire lifecycle of our clinical investigations and commercial procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical Education and Training: Develop comprehensive clinical education materials tailored to support clinical investigations, ensuring alignment with evolving protocols and best practices. Provide expert clinical insights on device functionality, procedural techniques, and protocol adherence throughout the investigation lifecycle.
• Center and Personnel Certification: Oversee the certification process for clinical centers, physicians, and associated staff, as well as Edwards Lifesciences (EW) personnel, in strict accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and Proctor Engagement: Collaborate with KOLs and proctors to facilitate knowledge sharing, procedural guidance, and the dissemination of clinical best practices.
• Procedural and Imaging Education: Deliver in-depth education on procedural imaging guidance, patient selection criteria, and screening protocols to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Curriculum Development: Design, refine, and continuously improve training curricula, materials, and tools based on real-world clinical trial experiences, EW guidelines, and SOPs to enhance learning and adoption.
• Physician and Staff Training: Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on technical aspects of our products and procedures through structured one-on-one training sessions, ad hoc education programs, and in-service initiatives.
• Follow-Up Support: Provide ongoing follow-up support to physicians and medical staff during commercial procedures to ensure sustained education and technical assistance, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes.
• Growth Strategy Implementation: Partner with Sales and Sales Management teams to develop and execute growth strategies within key accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and expanding product adoption.
• Software and Hardware Validation: Validate software and hardware updates in the field to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency of our technologies.
• Product and Market Mastery: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, the underlying physiology and anatomy, and the competitive landscape within the cardiovascular market.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the field of echocardiography or a related medical discipline, complemented by prior experience in the medical device industry or clinical settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, medical, or technical field.
• Proven experience in delivering training within clinical or technical environments.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to operate standard office equipment efficiently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong aptitude for presentation and interpersonal relationship management, including negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, enabling you to navigate complex clinical and operational challenges.
• Solid foundational knowledge of cardiovascular science, including an understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
• Awareness of medical device regulatory requirements, device accountability protocols, and adverse event reporting procedures.
• Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information and strict attention to detail in all professional interactions.
• Ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high performance standards.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within inter-departmental teams and represent the organization on specialized projects.
• Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally, to cultivate productive partnerships and drive collective success.
• A commitment to adhering to all company policies, including pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, and environmental protection measures. Ability to implement adequate control measures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
• High adaptability to frequent travel, including international assignments, with up to 70% travel required across the EEMEA region.
