Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer / OpenShift Administrator – Join Our Dynamic Team

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Your core duties will include:

• Cluster Deployment & Management: Design, install, configure, and maintain production-grade OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters, adhering to best practices for reliability and scalability.
• Infrastructure Automation: Leverage automation tools and scripts to streamline cluster provisioning, updates, and maintenance, reducing manual intervention and enhancing efficiency.
• Networking & Security: Configure and manage networking components such as Ingress, Egress, DNS, and Load Balancers, while implementing robust security measures including RBAC, AD/LDAP integration, and SSO solutions.
• Storage & Data Management: Utilize OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) to manage persistent storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability across environments.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging frameworks to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal cluster performance.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Develop and execute robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for etcd and cluster configurations, minimizing downtime and data loss.
• Multi-Cluster Management: Oversee the deployment and management of multi-cluster environments, leveraging Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) to maintain consistency and governance across clusters.
• Container Registry Management: Administer Red Hat Quay for secure and efficient container image storage and distribution, supporting CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years in Linux administration, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, and Linux systems, including cluster installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Networking & Security: Strong understanding of networking protocols, DNS, Load Balancers, and identity integration solutions such as AD, LDAP, and SSO.
• Storage & Data Management: Experience with OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and storage solutions for persistent data requirements.
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks to ensure system health and performance.
• Disaster Recovery: Proven ability to design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical infrastructure components.
• Multi-Cluster Management: Experience with Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and multi-cluster environments to maintain operational consistency.
• Container Registry: Hands-on experience with Red Hat Quay for container image management and distribution.
