Planning Engineer

Join Our Project Controls Team as a Planning Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Planning Engineer to support our major infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities, ensuring accurate reporting and effective schedule control throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Assist in preparing baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequencing, and resource loading.
• Update project progress, monitor schedule performance, and identify deviations.
• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly look-ahead schedules.
• Develop progress reports, S-Curves, dashboards, KPI reports, and resource histograms.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect progress updates.
• Support delay analysis, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and Extension of Time (EOT) documentation.
• Assist in forecasting, resource planning, and schedule recovery activities.
• Monitor manpower and equipment productivity against planned targets.
• Ensure planning data is accurate and aligned with project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in Planning & Scheduling.
• Proven experience working on Infrastructure Projects.
• Previous experience with a Main Contractor is required.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of CPM, Project Controls, Progress Monitoring, Delay Analysis, TIA, EOT, Resource Loading, S-Curves, and KPI Reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in major infrastructure or giga projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, water networks, sewer networks, metro, airports, or similar large-scale projects will be highly preferred.
