Senior Cloud Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Consultant to deliver strategic expertise and technical leadership in the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade cloud solutions. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive cloud adoption, streamline migration initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency across complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Your deep technical acumen and consultative approach will be instrumental in guiding organizations through their digital transformation journeys while ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Consultant will be responsible for the following key functions:

• Cloud Architecture Leadership: Design, architect, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions tailored to enterprise requirements. Lead the development of cloud-native architectures that support agility, scalability, and resilience.
• Strategic Cloud Advisory: Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on cloud adoption strategies, including migration planning, cost optimization, and performance enhancement. Develop roadmaps that align technical solutions with business goals while mitigating risks and maximizing ROI.
• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Deliver technical leadership across diverse cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure seamless integration and interoperability across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Develop and implement automation frameworks and IaC solutions using industry-leading tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and AWS CloudFormation. Streamline deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to stringent cloud security standards, regulatory frameworks, and organizational policies. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Cloud Assessments and Maturity Reviews: Perform detailed cloud readiness evaluations, maturity assessments, and gap analyses to determine optimal cloud strategies. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance cloud adoption and operational maturity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and other teams to foster a cohesive and integrated approach to cloud solutions. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Mentor junior consultants and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the technical capabilities of the broader team.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to cloud consulting or cloud architecture. Proven success in delivering large-scale cloud solutions and leading complex migration projects is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, with a strong understanding of cloud networking, security protocols, compliance frameworks, DevOps methodologies, and automation practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making and drive consensus.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that address evolving organizational needs.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
