Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this independent contributor role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of tender and contract management, from initial bid development to final execution. Your duties will include:

• Bid and Tender Development: Lead the creation and submission of competitive bids and tenders, ensuring alignment with market demands and organizational objectives. This includes drafting requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and preparing responses to due diligence requests.
• Contract Administration: Manage the negotiation, drafting, and execution of contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Johnson & Johnson’s internal policies. You will oversee post-signature contract administration to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for internal partners, including sales, marketing, and legal teams, to facilitate smooth operations and drive strategic contracting opportunities. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be critical to the success of the organization.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of pre-signature and post-signature contract processes. You will be responsible for delivering operational deliverables and achieving aligned goals set by leadership.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure all contractual activities adhere to Johnson & Johnson’s Credo, Leadership Imperatives, and regulatory standards. Your role will contribute to maintaining the company’s reputation for integrity and excellence in healthcare.
• Operational Support: Provide proficient office administration to optimize daily activities, resource management, and efficiency across the tender and contract management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years of experience in contract administration, tender management, or a closely related field is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Proficiency in office administration tools and contract management software is highly desirable. Additionally, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies will be critical to your success.
