Your Impact: Driving Early Specification Influence in Key Markets

This role is designed for professionals who thrive in dynamic, long-cycle environments where early engagement is critical to success. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with top-tier consultants, design firms, and key stakeholders upstream—before the Request for Quotation (RFQ) stage—to shape architectural standards and specifications around Belden’s cutting-edge solutions. By focusing on network, operational technology (OT), and cybersecurity architectures at the design phase, you will secure early visibility into specification-driven programs and convert these insights into a robust, pre-RFQ pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Your work will directly contribute to the identification of mega-projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and broader MEA, ensuring that Belden is positioned as the preferred partner for transformative infrastructure and hospitality initiatives. This role bridges the gap between commercial strategy and technical expertise, enabling you to feed high-value opportunities into our Commercial teams while fostering long-term relationships with industry leaders.

What You Bring to the Table

To excel in this role, you will possess a blend of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and cross-cultural agility. We are seeking a results-driven professional with the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field—along with equivalent professional experience that demonstrates a strong commercial focus and technical aptitude.
• Professional Experience: A proven track record in a commercial, consultative, or specification-selling role, with a deep understanding of infrastructure projects and the ability to engage with consultants effectively. Experience in the hospitality or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
• International Exposure: Prior experience in a medium-to-large international organization, preferably within a matrix environment. Your ability to navigate cross-functional teams and adapt to diverse business cultures will be a key asset.
• Agile Mindset: Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. You must thrive in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment where adaptability and strategic thinking are paramount.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in an additional relevant language, such as Arabic, is a significant advantage and will enhance your ability to engage with local stakeholders.
