Retail, Supply Chain & Logistics Consultant

Role Overview

The Retail, Supply Chain & Logistics Consultant is a strategic position responsible for providing deep functional expertise across various aspects of the retail and supply chain ecosystem. This role supports business development, solution design, customer engagements, and digital transformation initiatives by advising customers and internal teams on retail operations, supply chain optimization, warehouse management, transportation, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert across retail, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, and logistics operations to support customer engagements and digital transformation initiatives.
• Advise customers on operational challenges, business process optimization, and the application of digital technologies to enhance efficiency, visibility, resilience, and customer experience.
• Support business development and presales teams by providing domain expertise during customer interactions, workshops, and proposal development.
• Contribute to opportunity development and solution positioning by translating customer business requirements into practical digital and enterprise technology solutions.
• Collaborate with solution architects and presales teams to design customer-centric solutions aligned with operational objectives and industry best practices.
• Develop industry-specific use cases and provide expert guidance during solution design to ensure proposed solutions align with customer operational models and supply chain best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend their application within Digital Platforms' solutions.
• Participate in customer workshops and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and transformation priorities.
• Develop industry presentations, white papers, and thought leadership materials to strengthen Digital Platforms' market positioning.
• Represent Digital Platforms at industry conferences and ecosystem engagements as the Retail, Supply Chain & Logistics domain expert.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders by providing credible industry advice and consultative guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure industry requirements are reflected in product evolution and solution development.
• Support implementation teams during project delivery and customer adoption activities.
• Contribute to internal capability development by sharing industry knowledge and best practices across teams.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Proven experience in retail, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital technologies and their application within these domains.

Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using industry-specific tools and software. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
