We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company with a rapidly expanding oncology portfolio to identify a dynamic Market Access Manager – Oncology to spearhead pricing, reimbursement, and institutional access strategies across Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end market access strategies that ensure timely patient access to oncology therapies while driving robust commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will own the entire access pathway, from pricing strategy and tender execution to formulary negotiations and payer engagement, ensuring alignment with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As the Market Access Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated market access strategies tailored to the oncology portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Pricing and Reimbursement Strategy: Develop and execute pricing strategies through comprehensive benchmarking, financial simulations, and dossier submissions to secure optimal reimbursement terms.
• Tender Management: Lead the strategic planning, execution, and negotiation of NUPCO tenders, ensuring competitive positioning and alignment with institutional requirements.
• Formulary Engagement: Secure formulary listings across Ministry of Health (MOH) clusters and major oncology institutions by building strong relationships with key decision-makers and formulary committees.
• Payer Relationships: Cultivate high-trust relationships with national payers, reimbursement authorities, and formulary committees to advocate for the value proposition of oncology therapies.
• Value Communication: Develop and deliver compelling payer-value communications that highlight the clinical and economic benefits of oncology treatments, supported by robust evidence and data.
• Regulatory and Policy Insights: Monitor and analyze regulatory, pricing, and oncology policy changes to proactively adapt strategies and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in Market Access, with a strong preference for roles within the institutional or public sector, ideally within oncology.
• Hands-on experience navigating Saudi Arabia’s market access landscape, including pricing, reimbursement frameworks, and NUPCO tender processes.
• In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing pharmaceutical access in Saudi Arabia.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and account management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to relocate to or be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
