RCM Specialist

Position Overview

Waseel is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Specialist to join our dynamic team across various regions in the Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in overseeing the revenue cycle for healthcare provider organizations, ensuring seamless billing and collections processes while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing financial performance and enhancing operational efficiency within our healthcare ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

• Compliance and Protocol Management: Ensure that all revenue cycle processes strictly comply with standard CCHI (Central Board for Coordination of Health Insurance) policies, maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Patient and Insurance Data Management: Validate, verify, and accurately enter patient information and insurance coverage details into designated computer systems, ensuring data integrity and minimizing errors.
• Insurance Coordination: Facilitate the submission of approvals and reports to insurance companies, acting as a liaison to expedite the claims process and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Naphies Platform Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the Naphies platform alongside a highly skilled and professional team to streamline revenue cycle operations and enhance cross-functional efficiency.
• Ministry of Health Case Management: Handle Ministry of Health-related cases by meticulously preparing and submitting all required documentation and conducting thorough investigations to support approval requests initiated by treating physicians.
• Data Analysis and Claims Review: Analyze data on Unpaid Claims Adjustment Forms (UCAFs) prior to submission to insurance companies, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Provide medical guidance to the claims processing team, assist with ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding, and meticulously review insurance claim forms and supporting documents to ensure completeness and continuity in the claims lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Professional Experience: Prior experience in revenue cycle management and medical approvals is highly desirable, with a proven track record of navigating complex healthcare billing landscapes.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in using approval platforms and revenue cycle management software is essential to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify billing discrepancies, resolve issues proactively, and implement corrective measures to optimize revenue collection.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless operations.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is required, with preference given to candidates holding advanced certifications such as Certified Professional in IFCE (International Federation of Clinical Excellence) or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management).
• Experience Level: Mid-level positions require a minimum of two years of relevant experience in healthcare provider organizations, including hospitals, clinics, or medical practices.
