By combining DHL’s logistics expertise with Aramco’s expansive supply chain ecosystem, ASMO is committed to establishing new benchmarks in efficiency, reliability, and innovation. In the short term, our primary focus is on delivering end-to-end integrated services to Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, with a long-term vision to extend our reach across all industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Analyst to oversee IT operations across our remote sites, ensuring the seamless delivery of secure, reliable, and high-performance technology services that underpin warehouse, logistics, and industrial operations. This critical role requires a strategic thinker who can balance technical leadership with operational excellence, driving continuous improvement and adherence to corporate IT standards. As the primary IT representative for assigned sites, you will coordinate daily IT activities, manage third-party vendors, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and IT governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Representation & Leadership: Serve as the primary IT liaison for assigned remote sites, representing IT interests in management discussions and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Infrastructure & Service Management: Execute ASMO’s IT infrastructure and service management strategies across remote locations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to IT governance policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and architectural standards to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
  • Technology Planning & Lifecycle Management: Participate in strategic technology planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and site readiness initiatives to support business continuity and scalability.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify operational risks, assess their impact, and recommend proactive mitigation strategies to safeguard site IT infrastructure and services.
  • Incident & Service Management: Oversee incident, service request, problem, and change management processes, ensuring compliance with SLAs and ITIL standards while driving resolution efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the availability, performance, and reliability of site IT infrastructure, including networks, wireless systems, end-user computing, printing, collaboration tools, and supporting applications.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Coordination: Collaborate with ISPs, MSPs, and external vendors to resolve incidents, coordinate infrastructure maintenance, and validate deliverables to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 onsite technical support, including the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user devices, operational hardware, and network components.
  • Warehouse Systems Support: Ensure the connectivity and availability of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational systems critical to logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance to onsite IT operators and MSPs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including network diagrams, asset records, configuration documents, and standard operating procedures to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Service Desk, Infrastructure Team, Cybersecurity Team, Business Application Team, Facilities Management, Warehouse Operations, and Project Management Office, to align IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Asset & Cost Management: Support efficient utilization of IT assets, minimize equipment downtime, and assist in inventory verification and asset lifecycle management to optimize costs and procurement activities.
  • Change Management & Validation: Execute approved infrastructure and service management changes, participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities, and validate post-change service stability to ensure seamless transitions.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience. Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity standards, and ITIL processes is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. Experience in logistics, warehouse systems, or industrial IT environments is highly desirable.
