Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Network Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Design and Deployment: Develop and implement scalable network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks, tailored to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and high availability.
• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal system performance.
• Security Implementation: Deploy and maintain advanced security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols, to safeguard sensitive company data and infrastructure.
• Collaboration and Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to assess network requirements, recommend improvements, and integrate new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, administration, or a closely related field, with a proven track record of managing complex network environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing and switching technologies, and network security frameworks. Familiarity with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and load balancers, is essential.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
