Cashier - Customer Service Champion

The Cashier role is a pivotal customer service position, responsible for delivering swift, friendly, accurate, and secure transactions. Your primary duties include:

• Processing checkout and return transactions with speed and precision.
• Monitoring and maintaining the self-checkout area for optimal customer experience.
• Proactively seeking product knowledge to provide customers with valuable information and identify sales opportunities.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures to minimize shrink and ensure operational excellence.

As a Head Cashier, you will also:

• Position and support Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving POS transactions, and markdowns for various registers and services.
• Provide first-level escalation for customer issues, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates, contributing to their growth and development.

The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is a minimum of one year of experience in a Cashier role.
