Cashier - Customer Service Specialist

The Cashier role is a pivotal customer service position, responsible for delivering swift, friendly, accurate, and secure transactions. Key responsibilities include:

• Processing checkout and return transactions with precision and efficiency.
• Monitoring and maintaining the self-checkout area to ensure smooth operation.
• Actively seeking product knowledge to provide customers with accurate information and identify sales opportunities.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures to minimize shrink and maintain a secure environment.

For the Head Cashier position, additional responsibilities include:

• Positioning and supporting Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving POS transactions, and markdowns for various registers and services.
• Providing first-level escalation for customer issues and assisting in the supervision, coaching, and training of other front-end associates.

Preferred qualifications for the Head Cashier role include 1+ years of cashier experience.
