E-Learning Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview

Müller's Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-Learning Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our e-learning products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user engagement. As a key contributor to our educational technology initiatives, you will collaborate closely with instructional designers, software developers, and subject matter experts to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of our online learning solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Content Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive reviews of e-learning content to verify accuracy, relevance, and alignment with established learning objectives. Ensure that all materials are up-to-date, factually correct, and presented in a clear and engaging manner.
• Usability Testing: Perform rigorous usability testing to assess the intuitiveness and user-friendliness of e-learning modules. Identify potential barriers to learner engagement and recommend improvements to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Defect Documentation and Resolution: Systematically identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement within e-learning modules. Work collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborative Refinement: Partner with instructional designers to refine course content based on feedback from quality assurance testing and user evaluations. Contribute to the iterative improvement of e-learning programs to maximize their educational impact.
• Compatibility and Compliance Testing: Execute compatibility testing across a variety of devices, web browsers, and learning management systems (LMS) to ensure optimal performance. Verify compliance with industry standards such as SCORM and AICC to guarantee seamless integration and tracking within LMS platforms.
• Quality Assurance Standards Development: Establish and maintain robust quality assurance standards, guidelines, and testing protocols tailored specifically to e-learning products. Ensure that these standards are consistently applied across all projects to uphold the highest levels of quality.
• Team Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to team members on quality assurance processes, best practices, and the use of relevant tools. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the organization.
• Industry Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technological advancements, and best practices in the e-learning and quality assurance fields. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and enhance the quality of our digital learning solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and testing of e-learning products or digital education platforms, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent platforms. Experience with other digital content creation tools is considered advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and familiarity with SCORM/AICC compliance standards to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• A strong grasp of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, enabling you to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences critically.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience with usability testing and user experience (UX) design principles is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset.
