As part of the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/), we are seeking skilled Frontend Developers to contribute their craftsmanship to the creation of high-quality landing pages and multi-page websites within a hybrid AI + human workflow.

Your Role as an AI Pilot

At Mindrift, we refer to this position as an AI Pilot—a role designed for professionals who excel in frontend development while collaborating with AI-driven agents that handle repetitive tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to elevate AI-generated frontend output into pixel-perfect, conversion-ready websites that align with real client briefs. This part-time, fully remote opportunity is ideal for experienced developers who thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment and are passionate about delivering polished web experiences.

What You’ll Build

As a Freelance Frontend Developer for the Tendem project, you will design, develop, and refine a variety of web assets, including:

• Landing Pages: Hero sections, clear calls-to-action (CTAs), and conversion-focused layouts tailored to client objectives.
• Waitlist and Promo Pages: Engaging, high-impact pages designed to capture leads and drive user interest.
• Multi-Page Websites: Small-scale websites for portfolios, restaurants, small businesses, or simple online stores, structured with essential pages such as Home, About, Services, and Contact.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop responsive, mobile-first layouts that deliver seamless experiences across devices and browsers.
• Integrate functional elements such as forms, email capture mechanisms, basic analytics, and simple CMS or headless content sources to meet client specifications.
• Apply foundational on-page SEO principles, including semantic HTML, meta tags, performance optimization, and accessibility, to ensure pages are optimized for search rankings and ad campaigns.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated frontend output, enhancing markup, styling, structure, and copy placement to achieve production-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot layout inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser compatibility issues with autonomy and precision.
• Collaborate with AI agents to streamline workflows while maintaining full ownership of the frontend development process.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in frontend development, landing page production, or website development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Design, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles, Flexbox, and Grid.
  • Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Astro, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind or modern component libraries.
  • Ability to translate Figma designs or written briefs into clean, maintainable, and visually cohesive code.
  • Experience with form handling, email capture services (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit), and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Plausible).
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG basics), and Core Web Vitals.
  • Comfort with simple CMS platforms or headless content solutions (e.g., Webflow, Framer, Sanity, Contentful) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: A keen visual eye, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Your work should reflect intentional design choices, avoiding generic or templated appearances.
• Language Proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English language skills are required.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing shipped landing pages and/or small websites is mandatory for consideration.

Project Commitment

For this project, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week during active phases, though this may vary based on project demands. This is an indicative estimate and does not guarantee a fixed workload. The role is project-based and offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and deliverables.
