QA/QC Engineer - King Salman International Airport (KSIA) - Terminal 6, Substructure Works

The QA/QC Engineer is a critical role in ensuring the quality of concrete structures for the Terminal 6 Substructure, with a specialized focus on Cast-in-Situ Concrete and the iconic Mass Concrete Raft Foundation. This full-time, site-based position reports to the QA/QC Manager and demands a specialist who understands the nuances of concrete science under extreme conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mass Concrete & Raft Foundation Excellence: Verify thermal control plan implementation, monitor concrete placement, track temperature differentials, and oversee integrity testing of the raft.
• Cast-in-Situ Concrete Quality Control: Inspect formwork and reinforcement, ensure embedded items are secure, monitor finishing operations, and enforce curing protocols.
• Integrated Scope Management: Inspect waterproofing systems, support precast operations, and oversee earthworks and backfilling operations.
• Material & Documentation Governance: Validate mix designs, oversee sampling and testing, maintain quality records, and ensure compliance with Bechtel DP protocols.

This role requires close coordination with the Material Engineer, Surveying Manager, and Site Engineers to ensure zero tolerance for defects in this critical PIF infrastructure project.
