Position Overview

CSI Global, a premier engineering consultancy specializing in Testing & Commissioning, Construction Management, MEP Engineering, QA/QC, Building Diagnostics, Fire & Life Safety, and Mission Critical Services, is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This role is exclusively available to Saudi nationals who are eager to contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 through impactful projects in the energy and engineering sectors.

As part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering testing, commissioning, and system validation services for a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems, protection relays, switchgear, and associated MEP/ELV interfaces. Whether you are a fresh graduate with a strong technical foundation or an experienced professional, this opportunity offers a platform to grow and make a meaningful contribution to critical infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Testing & Commissioning: Execute comprehensive testing and commissioning activities for MV/LV electrical systems in strict adherence to approved Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project specifications.
  • Electrical Component Testing: Perform detailed testing of LV switchgear, control panels, current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), circuit breakers, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and protection systems.
  • ELV System Support: Assist in the commissioning of fire alarm systems, building management systems (BMS), emergency lighting, and other extra-low voltage (ELV) interfaces to ensure full operational readiness.
  • Technical Equipment Utilization: Operate advanced electrical test equipment, including CT Analyzer (Omicron), CPC 100, MOM 200, insulation resistance testers, continuity testers, earth resistance testers, and power quality analyzers. Training will be provided for applicable tools and methodologies.
  • Compliance Verification: Validate installations against project drawings and international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and the Saudi Building Code to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare accurate test reports, commissioning records, punch lists, and project handover documentation to facilitate seamless project transitions and client satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with QA/QC teams, consultants, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • HSE & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures, including Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, to maintain a safe working environment during all testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates to professionals with up to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, testing & commissioning, power systems, or MEP projects.
  • Professional Registration: Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and Saudi standards is advantageous. SEC (Saudi National Grid) approval is considered a plus but is not mandatory.
  • Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Hands-on experience with MV/LV electrical systems, protection testing, or commissioning activities.
  • Proficiency in working with equipment from leading manufacturers such as ABB, Schneider, Siemens, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and BMS/fire alarm systems.
  • Exceptional ability to interpret electrical drawings and produce precise technical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site across various locations in Saudi Arabia to support project execution.

Join CSI Global and be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to shaping the future of engineering and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Your expertise will not only drive project success but also contribute to the nation’s ambitious Vision 2030 goals. Apply today to embark on a rewarding career journey with a company committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.
